California drought ended

We had our first snow in several years followed by 5 inches of rain

Job 37:5  God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.
Job 37:6  For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.

The parking lot at the River park looks like a lake. The stones were to keep out vehicles that would do wheelies on the grass.

1Pe 2:6  Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
1Pe 2:7  Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
1Pe 2:8  And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

The trails around the park were flooded.

The walking bridge to the fishing dock was under water. The four separate ponds have become one pond as the river flows in giving fresh new water. Maybe new fish too?

Eze 47:8  Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed.
Eze 47:9  And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.

Another view of the fishing dock. The shelter is usually on high ground, but now submerged as high as the seat on the picnic bench. The bench is cement and secured. I remember in the 1970's seeing wood picnic benches floating down the river. I also saw a propane tank going downstream.

Psa 61:2  From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
Psa 61:3  For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.

There is snow  on the mountains and high water. The dam is almost full and releasing water. Two years ago the officials were saying that the drought would take many years and water was rationed with plans to conserve water. The Lord gave us plenty of water last year and a record amount this year. He heard the prayers of his children.
