Fish Hawk

I was looking across the river at an Osprey gliding, thinking that he may come closer, when he began to dive. He saw something in the water with those sharp hawk eyes.

Deu 34:7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

He hit the water with a splash. Something was happening in the water.

Mat 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
Mat 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Immediately he spred his wings and began to fly with a fish in his talons. I was quite a distance away and hoping that I had something when I magnified the image on the computer.

Jer 48:40 For thus saith the LORD; Behold, he shall fly as an eagle, and shall spread his wings over Moab.
Jer 48:41 Kerioth is taken, and the strong holds are surprised, and the mighty men's hearts in Moab at that day shall be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.
Jer 48:42 And Moab shall be destroyed from being a people, because he hath magnified himself against the LORD.

As he lifted off, higher and higher, he displayed his feathers and his great catch.

John 21:4 But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.
John 21:5 Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.
John 21:6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

What a fisherman this bird is; he saw and he was an expert at getting his catch. We need to be as this bird,; fishers of men, with the same keen eye and skill to deliver the person from the claws of the devil. Jesus is the master fisherman who gives us the eyes of the Holy Spirit. We will follow him and bring others to him.

Mat 4:18 And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.
Mat 4:19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
Mat 4:20 And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.

A blood red remnant of winter frost gives way to the new life in the green grass of spring. It is time to seek the things of our LORD; his creation and his people that Jesus died to save. Keep going until we enter into his presence.

Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
