Salmon make their way to their spawning grounds in Battle Creek
where the hatchery is located. We all have a destination, but many have no
purpose.
Eph 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the
mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created
all things by Jesus Christ:
Eph 3:10 To the intent that now unto the
principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the
manifold wisdom of God,
Eph 3:11 According to the eternal purpose which he
purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
Eph 3:12 In whom we have boldness and
access with confidence by the faith of him.
Eph 3:13 Wherefore I desire
that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
The final waterfall is too steep for the Salmon, but they fight on
with all their strength and determination. We could learn from the
Salmon.
Gal 4:28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of
promise.
Gal 4:29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted
him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
Gal 4:30
Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for
the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
Gal 4:31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of
the free.
Gal 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath
made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
Having made it into a holding tank; although captured, they still
try to leap to their destination. They need to rest now, because they are at
their spawning grounds.
1Ti 6:8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
1Ti 6:9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and
into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and
perdition.
1Ti 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which
while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves
through with many sorrows.
1Ti 6:11 But thou, O man of God, flee these
things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience,
meekness.
1Ti 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life,
whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many
witnesses.
The country drive from the hatchery shows a patriotic American
farmer showing his pride in our country and our flag. Like the Salmon, we fight
for our destiny, freedom of worship, freedom as a people in our faith in Jesus
Christ.
Heb 6:10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour
of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the
saints, and do minister.
Heb 6:11 And we desire that every one of you do
shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
Heb
6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and
patience inherit the promises.
Heb 6:13 For when God made promise to
Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
Heb
6:14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply
thee.
Heb 6:15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the
promise.

Some things we need to give to Jesus. Anything that hinders our
walk with the Lord should be given up.
Eph 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the
old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; Eph 4:23 And be
renewed in the spirit of your mind; Eph 4:24 And that ye put on the new
man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Some things we cannot handle, so we give it to the
Lord.
Rom 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind
of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the
will of God.
Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to
them that love God, to them who are the called according to his
purpose.
