Feed Me
Manzanita trees grow abundantly on the banks of the lake.My son has
become a scuba diver and he says that he catches crawdads under rocks, to feed
the bass who come to feast.

This sparrow seeks shelter from the rain under the roof of our bird
feeder. He was well cared for.

In our yard the Pyracantha berries are turning red. Pyra, means
fire. Another name for the shrub is Firethorn; they do have sharp thorns making
them difficult to handle. The birds like to eat these, especially the cedar
waxwings.
