God is Faithful

The Trumpet flower on the Jimson weed rolls up like a scroll as the sun sets. God is faithful to bring these familiar flowers from year to year. Someday it will end and the heavens will be rolled up like a scroll.

Rev 6:12  And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
Rev 6:13  And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
Rev 6:14  And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
Rev 6:15  And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
Rev 6:16  And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
Rev 6:17  For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

The Buttonwillow blooms and the stems look like the diagram of a molecule. The LORD created all from nothing. How is it that people do not give him credit?

Psa 33:6  By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
Psa 33:7  He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.
Psa 33:8  Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
Psa 33:9  For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.
Psa 33:10  The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.
Psa 33:11  The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
Psa 33:12  Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

Randy the wounded goose is back with many of his friends. He has been at or near the park for five years now. The LORD has provided for him and he is faithful to us as well.

Psa 119:90  Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.

Baby ducks on the river hurry back to the shelter of branches in the water. Hawks are enemies from above and otters from below. Life is beautiful but with it's dangers. Family should stay together; the older ducks call from the shelter of the branches.

A beautiful sunset ends the walk.

Psa 108:3  I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.
Psa 108:4  For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.
Psa 108:5  Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;
