Wet Wings

Canadian Geese chicks peck at the ground, instinctively foraging for food. Life and strength will come to their fuzzy little wings and with age they will lift them up in flight with others in their V for victory flight. We began as these, small and soft, we gained strength with age and we too will make our victory flight to meet the Lord.

Psa 90:10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

In the cool morning breeze, a pair of Mallards glide across the pond.

Psa 34:3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

The tall wet grass had an unusual creature, a wet dragonfly covered in drops of dew. A dew drop on a blade of grass was her looking glass.

James 1:23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
James 1:24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
James 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
Dragon wings covered with pearls of water. Such beautiful design and detail for such a lowly insect. How much more are we equipped with pearls of wisdom from our LORD?

Job 28:17 The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: and the exchange of it shall not be for jewels of fine gold.
Job 28:18 No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom is above rubies.
Job 28:19 The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold.
Job 28:20 Whence then cometh wisdom? and where is the place of understanding?
Job 28:21 Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air.
Job 28:22 Destruction and death say, We have heard the fame thereof with our ears.Job 28:23 God understandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth the place thereof.
Job 28:24 For he looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven;

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
