Walking is Wonderful

It was great to walk again with camera at the park. Randy the goose was there with some different geese. They have white faces and yellow orange legs. Canadian geese have black legs. Are these Emperor geese from Alaska?

A squirrel tests his flying ability. I caught him as he was about to jump. Squirrels are born jumpers and climbers. I see them running along the telephone wires and they jump from tree to tree with the greatest ease. I could use some of their boldness.

Act 4:29  And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,
Act 4:30  By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
Act 4:31  And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
Act 4:32  And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
Act 4:33  And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

The wild grapes climb the trees. Many of the older trees are covered with them. The birds like the small grapes with their big seeds but they are not good grapes for eating. They remind me of neglect. If not tended too they take over. When we plant grapes we want them to produce good fruit. The LORD wants good fruit from his people.

Isa 5:3  And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard.
Isa 5:4  What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?

This wild plant looks like it is covered in frost, but it is just the texture of its leaves. It is summer time with temperatures over 100 degrees. Things are not always as they appear to be.

2Co 11:13  For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
2Co 11:14  And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
2Co 11:15  Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Last years trumpet flower. The trumpet vine is poisonous to cattle.

A spent trumpet flower in our summer drought heat. It reminds me of some of the older trumpet players who have lost their wind. I know horn players that are still blowing good music in their 90's. It is a gift from God. Life is a gift.

1Co 14:8  For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?
1Co 14:9  So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye shall speak into the air.

1Co 15:51  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1Co 15:52  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1Co 15:53  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
1Co 15:54  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
1Co 15:55  O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

This morning the water reflected the trees in the second pond. I have seen the water so high that it covered that bridge. The bridge is as a rainbow, a reminder that there will not be another earthly flood. There will be fire. Gays using the rainbow as their symbol are really asking for judgement.

Our nation has become ungodly  and God will judge it as he did his chosen nation Israel. Pray for our nation. We need a godly leader and God fearing people. Repent ye people.

Isa 1:7  Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.

The Silver Thistle in its stages of life. God made beautiful things.

My daughter called me out to look at the setting sun. There is smoke in the air from fires.

Mat 16:1  The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.
Mat 16:2  He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red.
Mat 16:3  And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?
