Feed My Lambs

Lambs are so cute. They are innocent, inquisitive,
gentle and rather feeble.

John 21:15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
The lambs love one another.

Joh 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples,
if ye have love one to another.

Sheep are hungry too, they stick their heads through fences seeking good food. Sometimes a human sheep has to go outside the fence of bondage in search to find a place to be fed with the word of God.

John 21:16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
John 21:17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
This sheep shows the ownership tag. The Christian is tagged or sealed by the Holy Spirit.

John 6:27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
Sheep and Lambs need to be fed. Spiritual lambs need the word of God so don't forget to feed me?

1Pe 2:1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
1Pe 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
1Pe 2:3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
