Spring Green

There is a new trail into the park.

Mat 7:13  Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Mat 7:14  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

The trail opens up the fertile land where a majestic oak tree stands. In the emptiness of our life a majestic Spirit reminds us of the presence of a living God. Jesus lives, he is risen!

There were some tracks on the green grass.  Sometimes we make side trails in our life; decisions we make and sometimes things that just happen to us that draw us off of the straight way. Some follow new religions and get lost. Some will believe anything and not know the real truth.

Jer 6:16  Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

Spring is a time of renewal, a time to plan for a coming harvest. Many directions we could go and some not of our choosing.

2Co 6:2  (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
2Co 6:3  Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:
2Co 6:4  But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
2Co 6:5  In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;
2Co 6:6  By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,
2Co 6:7  By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
2Co 6:8  By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;
2Co 6:9  As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;
2Co 6:10  As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

Last year we were in a drought. The bridge in the distance  spans the intersection of two ponds.

This Spring has brought an abundance of rain and the bridge is under water. A kayak passes by on what was a dry trail.

Joh 7:37  In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
Joh 7:38  He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

The geese love to eat the green grass and the moss in the ponds. I have not seen Randy, the wounded goose. Last I saw of him was last month on the side of the river.

The flowers love the rain and the warming sun. Enjoy this Easter day and enjoy the beautiful Spring time. Jesus is coming back, mankind will be going crazy but God's creation speaks of his beauty and faithfulness. Everything in it's season. Trust in Jesus our savior and be renewed into abundant everlasting life.

Joh 10:10  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Joh 10:11  I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
